Life Skills is a complete curriculum covering core life skills (those skills common to most life skills programs). The 28 teacher-directed lessons teach older youth and adults various skills and behaviors that help them to lead successful, productive lives.

The Instructional Management Guide

The guide contains an instructional outline and list of objectives for each lesson and indicates the order in which Information Sheets and Worksheets should be presented.

 

Transparency Masters

Transparencies provide structure to each lesson and highlight the significant terms and concepts students should learn.


Information Sheets

Students read Information Sheets before beginning each lesson for an introduction to and overview of the lesson.


Student Worksheets

The worksheets are exercises for students to complete, either individually or in small groups, and may serve as the starting point for a group or class discussion.

Life Skills instruction combined with Workforce Development strengthens and enhances students' employability skills.
